History:: This station dates back to an original construction permit issued to North Alabama Community Broadcasters (Travis Allred and family) in November 2024, for a low power station on 100.7 MHz with 8 watts of effective radiated power (ERP). A month later it was assigned the WXKI-LP call sign, which had at one time been on 103.1 FM in Moulton (now WEUP) in the early 90's.

A license to cover was filed on 16 December 2025. The station was reported to be planning a mix of Classic Country, MOR (Middle of the Road) and other educational programming including "the Cherokee word of the day".

At the start of October 2026, the station applied to move to a new transmitter site west of the original location, behind the Corinth West Baptist Church on Cullman county road 1101, near the Morgan County line. It was granted on 2 October. The change will come with a boost from 8 to 9 watts of power but with a slight decrease in antenna height.
