- History:
- The station came about
first as an internet-only radio station called "Jag Radio" in
2010. The station changed to "The Prowl" in 2012. In 2013,
the school received a permit to built a small low power FM station on
campus, to be completely run by students. The station went on
the air in the late summer of 2016. Some sports programming for
the school is handled by iHeart Media's "99.5 The Jag", and HD-fed
translator project in cooperation with the university.
