History:
This station dates back to an original construction permit held by a company called Penfold Communications, in September of 2006.  The station signed as WJIK in late April 2011 with a religious format. Programming originates from KRTM in Yucca Valley, California.  The station has gone through numerous periods of being off air due to various equipment issues: from June to September in 2012, then January to April 2014, then from March until April of 2015.  In April 2017 the station again filed a remain silent notification with the FCC, citing equipment issues.  During this silent period, a license transfer was initiated from Penfold Communications to Family Worship Center Church, Inc.  The station remained silent until mid-October 2017, when it finally came back on air with Jimmy Swaggart's SonLife Radio format.
