What it all means:
City of License  This may not be the city the station serves primarily. This is the city listed on the FCC application.
Call Sign  This is the call sign, as assigned by the FCC. If the calls are underlined, the link will take you to the station's web page.
Frequency  Frequency of the station, in MHz, as assigned by the FCC.
ERP  The station's effective radiated power, in watts.
HAAT  Height above average terrain, in feet.
Format The station's primary format. For a list of the most common format descriptions used on these pages, click here
Data  If the station broadcasts a Radio Data System carrier, what's shown in the radio's display is shown as RDS: [info on radio display]. Short messages are displayed in full, longer messages are truncated with If a station uses a directional antenna, a "D" will be shown. If the station data listed here is for a construction permit, "CP" will be shown. Click on the "+" to display the protected contour map created by the FCC. It is a rough estimate of a station's primary coverage area. An "M" in this column indicates the station doesn't broadcast in stereo, or broadcasts in stereo only on special occasions. "Auxiliary" indications the license is for a backup transmitter / antenna location. "HD" indicates a station broadcasting iBiquity's digital radio format.

Low power FM stations that are known to be active are highlighted in bold blue. Stations that are known to be inactive or non-operational for whatever reason are italicized.
"Low Power" FM:
This service is intended for local-to-local broadcasting with communities and smaller cities by induviduals, certain groups and organizations only. Stations in this class are restricted to two classes: one with 10 watts ERP (effective radiated power) and one with 100 watts ERP.
