Owner:
Fox Broadcasting Corporation, LLC
History:
This station has been on the air since 1999.  The original construction permit was issued all the way back in January of 1991, as a 6 kW class A station with a tower off South Holland Avenue just south of Georgiana.  Nine years, three sets of calls (WZQD, then WWGZ, finally WFXX) and a re-instated permit later, the station finally came on the air in late November 1999.  From inception, the station was owned by Jeffrey K. Haynes.  Haynes sold the station to Fox Broadcasting Corporation, LLC in March 2015. Fox Broadcasting is owned by Jeremy and Sarah Wolff.  Jeremy is the son of Peter Wolff, who owns WPPG in Evergreen.
