History:
This Bessemer radio
station was WBCO back in the late 50's, playing R&B. Later went on
to be WYAM, with a country format. More recently, the calls were changed
to WSMQ. In the last few years the station has been a talk station, hosting
smaller shows that are pushed to the side by big boys like WERC and WAPI.
