History:

WMMK started out in the early 80's as a class A country station nicknamed "K-92". For much of that decade, "K-92" was the market's #1 ranked Arbitron station. Other country competition changed that in the 90's  until the station finally changed to oldies. WMMK has since upgraded from class A to C3, though proximity to a local airfield keeps the tower under maximum C3 height. Gets considerable interference from co-channel WZEW.
