How's it sound?
The sound quality of this station is excellent. This is one of Birmingham's better sounding stations. Station has signal problems many places in the Birmingham, Bessemer and over the mtn. communities. The audio levels are regulated just a touch too much. One of the louder stations on the dial.
History:
Originally the calls were WCRT, the stepchild of WCRT-AM 1260. From sometime in the 70's up until 1983, the station had the calls WQEZ, "Your Q to EZ listening". In '83 it switched to Magic.
For the past 15 years it has been a sucessful staple of Birmingham radio as WMJJ.
