History:
This station came on the air around February 18th, testing.  It is unknown what the format will be, but the testing was a relay of Stroh's other station, Hot 103.5 in Huntsville.
.
It has been reported that the simulcast of Hot 103.5 only lasted a few days, and that the station broadcast a dead carrier for about week, then went silent.  It was silent after that until sometime in August 2008, where locals heard oldies and the "River 97.5/101.5" ID.  Shortly thereafter the station went off the air, again.  It was reported on again in late September 2008 - this time with a Christian Contemporary format.
.
In October of 2008 it was reported that the station finally seemed to be on the air for good, with a contemporary Christian / Christian CHR type format.  The station is also being heard in Montgomery on W268BH 101.5, a translator moved-in from Greenville.
.
Put on the air by Stroh Communications, who runs a station in the Huntsville area, the station was transferred to Back Door Broadcasting in November 2008.
